A browser of our own, built from Chromium, with the agent in the window rather than bolted on. Not published yet.
Announced: we have said we are building Redrob Browser, and there is nothing to install or download. No waitlist, no private beta, and no button here that does nothing.
What it is
Redrob Browser, in plain terms
The Browser is ours, built from Chromium rather than added to somebody else’s. The agent is not a panel bolted to the side of a window: the sidebar, the tab strip and the address row are the product, and a task you hand it opens real tabs you can watch, take over or close.
Its own interface is in Korean, not only the pages it shows you. That is a different piece of work from translating a page, and it is the reason the window does not read as English software with a Korean page inside it.
What it will do
- Hand the browser an outcome and watch it work in tabs you can take over at any point.
- Keep tabs, bookmarks and agent chats in one column instead of three places.
- Run a routine on a schedule, or wake an existing chat with its context intact.
- Bring your bookmarks, history and saved passwords across from the browser you use now.
Getting it
There is nothing to install yet
There is nothing to install and nothing to download. Redrob Browser is announced, which on this site means exactly that: we have said we are building it, and this page will keep saying so until there is a real thing to open.
What you can do in the meantime is what is already open: pay, watch what you spend, and use the API. Both are the same workspace and the same balance this application will draw on.
What is not there: There is nothing to download here yet. A Linux package has been built and released internally; it is not on the public CDN, so this page has no link to offer. Windows and macOS have a build path in the repository and have never been compiled. There is also no automatic update channel on any system.
Credit and keys
What paying gets you
Credit is bought against your workspace, not against a product. One balance, drawn on by whichever Redrob application you open, and it does not expire. So paying now is not paying early for this page: it is the same balance Console itself runs on today.
Redrob Browser takes a key you give it
Console can issue an application a workspace key without anyone copying one, and the applications that support it say so on their own pages. Redrob Browser is not one of them, so the only way in is a key you issue in Console and give it yourself. If that changes this page changes with it.
If you are a developer
The API is open now, speaks the OpenAI chat completions protocol, and bills the same workspace credit as the applications do. Keys are issued and revoked in Console.
